I took the Split Apple Rock paddle. I have never been sea kayaking before but found this trip to be very easy and comfortable. The sights were pretty, the guide was lovely - very friendly. We ordered lunch as well so we had a nice picnic on the beach nearing the end of the trip, the food was actually quite yummy. We had a great time, it is highly recommended though that you bring a change of dry clothes because you will get wet.
Thanks, Paul and the rest of the team for an unforgettable experience. We had an amazing time on the water; shame we didn't quite get to Split Apple Rock. Will just have to come back again another time without the kids and try again.

n December 2016/January 2017, we spent 3 weeks on the South Island. Our day with the Sea Kayak Company was the consensus favorite activity of our trip. Hannah and Daniel were our fun and knowledgeable guides. The water taxi ride to Torrent Bay turned out to be much more than that as our skipper took us to see Split Apple rock, a pod of dolphins, and an island with sea lions. After a beautiful hike from Torrent Bay to Bark Bay, we met them on the beach. The sandwich for lunch was excellent. Our kayak adventure included dolphins that swam right beside us and a bull seal tossing around his squid lunch as we looked on from close by. At the end, Hannah took a picture of the group in our kayaks and emailed it to us. It was a wonderful day!
